Advice

What Worked Well: Three things: 1)Installing retrofit devices at the same time as meters (one entry into home is best). 2) Having installation company make all appointments with homeowners. 3) Quadrupling flat rate for homeowners who refuse to allow a meter to be installed (instant compliance).
What to Avoid: Suggest clearer instructions for the homeowner showing how to read the meter and how to use the low flow indicator on the face of the meter.
