CWWA National Conferences

The Canadian Water and Wastewater Association organizes National Conferences related to Water and Wastewater issues: The Drinking Water Conference, the Wastewater Conference and the Water Efficiency and Conservation Conference.

Drinking Water Conference

This Conference organized by CWWA for the Federal-Provincial-Territorial Committee on Drinking Water has the objectives of assuring continuous improvement in drinking water services and public health in the face of new challenges, aging infrastructures and new solutions.  The biennial Conference brings together the latest reports and papers on drinking water issues and provides an unique opportunity for Canadian regulators, utility managers, researchers and other stakeholders in Canadian drinking water to meet and exchange views.

Wastewater Management Conference

This biennial conference is intended to bring together policy makers, regulators, managers of wastewater systems, consultants and related Associations. Its goal is to identify and assess the changing policy and regulatory initiatives across the country and provide insights and possible solutions to the challenges to be faced by wastewater managers in the coming years and beyond.

Water Efficiency and Conservation Conference

This biennial conference is a unique national perspective on water efficiency and conservation programs, issues and initiatives - focussing on all aspects of municipal efficiency programs from technology, to best management practices, to policy and education programs. Normally these issues are addressed piece-meal, or on a regional basis - this event provide a national Canadian perspective.
