Following on from previous successful energy based seminars, the CWWA in collaboration with the City of Calgary is holding a Pump Efficiency event. The event is expected to be an excellent learning and knowledge sharing opportunity. Discussion topics will include the basics of pump efficiency, best practice approaches and what's new in efficient pump operation. The event will take place in the City of Calgary Water Centre on May 13th and 14th, 2010.
The event will feature a day long seminar and a short tour of the Calgary Water Centre followed by a second day of tours. The tours will include a tour of the Pine Creek Wastewater treatment plant in the morning, followed by a provided lunch, and a tour of the Glenmore Water Treatment Plant in the afternoon.
